The new METE series represents the next step in the evolution of Canik’s semi-automatic sporting pistols—refining an already exceptional platform to deliver enhanced performance, control, and versatility. While the external updates are subtle, they become immediately apparent the moment the firearm is handled.
An integrally flared magazine well supports faster, smoother reloads while also improving grip stability. Newly designed aggressive texturing extends to the front strap, providing increased control under all conditions. A double undercut trigger guard further enhances grip ergonomics by allowing a higher, more secure support-hand position.
Functionality is improved through a low-profile slide stop lever and an angled rear sight edge, both designed for more efficient manipulation in high-pressure or one-handed scenarios. The optics-ready slide is precision cut for co-witnessing and accommodates a wide range of micro red-dot sights, including Trijicon RMRcc and Shield RMS/RMSc footprints, ensuring a consistent and reliable sight picture.
Comfort and handling are further elevated by a redesigned ergonomic beavertail, while the integrated Holster Fit-and-Lock (HFL) system provides enhanced retention security when holstered.
Internally, the METE platform introduces easy in/easy out push pins, allowing for simplified disassembly with minimal effort using the Canik punch. The modular internal design enables the firearm to be fully stripped and reassembled quickly and efficiently using only the included tool.
